Products Description
The Corrosion Resistant Linear Guide is an all-stainless-steel linear motion solution engineered to maintain smooth, high-precision performance in harsh operating environments exposed to moisture, high humidity, and corrosive substances. By strategically pairing high-hardness 440C stainless steel for load-bearing components (rails, slide blocks, and rolling balls) with 304 and 316L stainless steel for structural elements (retainers and end caps), this guide delivers an optimal balance of structural durability and environmental resistance.
It is an ideal choice for contamination-sensitive and washdown applications-such as medical equipment, food and beverage processing, semiconductor manufacturing, and chemical processing.
Corrosion Resistance
Our corrosion resistant linear guide is designed with stainless steel components to improve resistance to environmental exposure. Salt spray testing at 24h and 72h provides a visual comparison of corrosion performance between different material configurations.
Note: The experiment refers to ISO 9227:1990 Corrosion tests in artificial atmospheres - Salt spray tests

Stainless Steel Component Structure
Different components of the linear guide use stainless steel materials selected according to their mechanical and corrosion-resistance requirements.
This material configuration is designed to provide a balance of corrosion resistance, rolling performance and structural durability for demanding linear motion applications.

Designed for Demanding Operating Environments
Unlike standard linear guides intended primarily for general industrial environments, this series is developed for applications where corrosion resistance is an important selection factor.
High-Humidity Environments
Suitable for equipment exposed to moisture or high humidity during operation.
01
Frequent Cleaning

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the corrosion resistance of 440C stainless steel linear guides compare to standard carbon steel with surface plating?
+
-
While plated carbon steel guides rely on a thin surface coating that can wear, flake, or chip over time-exposing the underlying steel to rust-our corrosion resistant
What materials are used in this linear guide?
+
-
The current configuration uses 440C stainless steel for the guide rail, slide block and rolling balls, 316L stainless steel for the end cap, and 304 stainless steel for the retainer.
What documentation or test reports can be provided with bulk or OEM orders?
+
-
To support your quality audit and incoming inspection, we can provide Material Test Reports (MTR / Mill Certificates for 440C/316L/304), Salt Spray Test reports (24h/72h), and Dimensional & Inspection Data sheets upon request prior to shipment.
How do I choose the correct linear guide?
+
-
The main factors include load, stroke, speed, accuracy, installation space and operating environment. For corrosion-sensitive applications, the type and level of environmental exposure should also be considered.
Can you supply samples?
+
-
Sample orders can be discussed for product evaluation and equipment testing before bulk purchasing.
