Flange Roller Linear Guide

Line contact between the rollers and raceways helps limit elastic deformation under load, supporting machine axes where displacement under cutting or handling forces must be controlled.

The four-row, 45° contact arrangement supports radial, reverse-radial and lateral loads. This allows the guide arrangement to accommodate changing force directions during machine operation.

The flange provides a broad mounting surface and accessible fixing holes. Its geometry suits assemblies carrying moment loads, with final capacity determined by the selected block and rail arrangement.

Within the same nominal size, HC blocks have higher published load ratings and longer bodies than CC blocks. Compare the available installation length and required capacity before choosing the block type.

For worktable and feed axes exposed to cutting forces. Block spacing and guide arrangement should reflect the tool position and load direction.

For moving assemblies carrying offset loads. Check moment ratings across the full travel range, particularly where the working load extends beyond the guide supports.

For guided worktables and positioning assemblies. Specify protection and lubrication according to exposure to grinding debris, coolant or machining residue.

For loaded transfer slides and positioning stations. Selection should include acceleration, load overhang and operating frequency, rather than payload weight alone.
