A cross roller guide provides smooth linear motion over a limited stroke. The CRW series combines V-groove rails with caged cylindrical rollers arranged alternately at 90° to one another. This arrangement supports loads from different directions within a compact assembly. The standard configuration consists of four rails and two roller cages, with the final size selected to match the required travel and mounting space.

An offset load introduces moments that cannot be assessed from payload weight alone. Confirm the proposed rail dimensions, permissible stroke, load ratings and mounting-hole pattern against the application before approving a specification.

A matching series name does not establish interchangeability. Submit the complete original part number and drawing, or measurements of the existing assembly, for a dimensional and specification review before ordering.
Q. Does the standard CRW configuration include cage anti-creep protection?
Do not assume it includes the rack-and-pinion mechanism used in CRWG designs. If cage anti-creep protection is required, identify it separately and request confirmation of the proposed mechanism.
Q. Can I replace only a damaged rail or roller cage?
Individual components should not be treated as universally interchangeable. Provide details of the original assembly and the damaged part so the suitability of a partial replacement can be assessed.
