Ultra-low profile linear guide assemblies use the EB series low-assembly-height ball guide design for machinery with limited vertical installation space. Each assembly combines a profiled rail with recirculating ball blocks to guide moving tables, fixture plates and positioning platforms within a compact machine layout.

The range includes square and flange block configurations, with medium-load and heavy-load versions available to suit different installation and loading requirements.

Four-row ball contact

The EB series uses four rows of ball raceways with 45° contact angles and equal rated load capacity in the upward, downward and lateral directions.

Square and flange blocks

EBH square blocks and EBW flange blocks provide different mounting footprints. Choose the block format according to the available carriage width and fastening access.

Medium-load and heavy-load versions

S and C block versions have different lengths and load ratings. Selection should account for both applied loads and overturning moments.

Ball retention

A ball retainer helps keep the balls in position when the block is removed from the rail, making assembly handling more convenient.

Configuration and OEM Support

JSM provides OEM/ODM support for equipment-specific requirements, including review of rail length, block quantity, accuracy grade and preload. Special machining and surface treatment requests are evaluated against the selected model and operating conditions. Non-standard dimensions and configurations require technical confirmation before ordering.

Q: 1. Can I replace another brand's guide using only the nominal size?

A: No. A matching nominal size does not establish compatibility. The existing assembly height, mounting dimensions and load requirements must also be checked against the proposed replacement.

Q: 2. Can rails and blocks be ordered separately?

A: Yes, for supported interchangeable configurations. Non-interchangeable versions should be ordered and retained as matched assemblies; do not assume that any block will fit an existing rail.

Q: 3. Is the standard version suitable for a cleanroom or vacuum chamber?

A: Low assembly height does not establish cleanroom or vacuum suitability. Materials, lubrication and sealing require separate review against the specified environment.

Q: 4. What protection is available for dust or chips?

A: The catalogue includes additional wiper and metal scraper configurations. The appropriate arrangement depends on the contaminant and its exposure to the rail and block.

Q: 5. Can I order a sample before a production batch?

A: Sample availability, commercial terms and delivery timing can be confirmed for the intended model and quantity. Evaluate mounting fit and operation in your machine before approving a production batch.
