Product Configuration
Guide Assembly
Select the guide series using the required mounting height, rail length, carriage dimensions and load arrangement. Rail spacing, carriage quantity and the position of the moving load should be included in the assembly drawing. Accuracy and preload requirements are specified according to the selected series.
Materials and Surface Treatment
JSM's range includes stainless steel guides and surface-treated alternatives. The material specification should cover the exposed components of the assembly, including rails, carriages, fasteners and lubrication fittings. Component materials and treatment details should be confirmed in the quotation rather than assumed from the product name.
Protection and Lubrication
Sealing, lubrication access and external shielding need to suit the installation. Direct rinsing requires a different assessment from occasional splashes inside a protected machine section. Cleaning-agent compatibility and resistance to spray exposure must be confirmed for the proposed configuration; standard dust seals alone do not establish washdown suitability.
Configuration and Selection
An Anti-Corrosion Linear Guide should be specified around the exposure conditions as well as the required size. JSM's catalogue identifies stainless steel availability across selected HB, EB and MB models; the final configuration must be confirmed for the chosen series.
